James Kwabena Bomfeh, a stalwart of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has said there are positive indications that Ghanaians are craving for the Nkrumahist party but cautioned that followers of the party have a lot of work to do to make their general acceptance of the public a reality.
Mr. Bomfeh, aka, Kabila, nonetheless believes that the current leadership of the party possess the wherewithal to turn the fortunes of the once vibrant CPP around.
“I have the belief that the new crop of leaders under the chairmanship of Professor Edmund Delle, when sworn into office, will institute measures that will run the party to make it attractive. Ghanaians are yearning for the CPP, and it behoves on the leaders and all party members to ensure that what the people are craving for becomes a reality,” he said in an interview with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM Tuesday.
Bomfeh who recently lost his bid for the secretary position of the cockerel family at a polls held in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region promised to do his best to ensure that the party wins the 2016 general elections.
