Ghanaians are praising the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, following his decision to suspend Parliament sine die.
Alban Bagbin suspended Parliament amid much anticipation regarding which caucus would occupy the Majority.
His suspension keeps the NDC caucus as the Majority until further notice, effectively making the NPP caucus the Minority.
The NPP MPs had earlier staged a walkout and failed to take their seats when the Speaker commenced the session.

Serwaa Amihere commended Bagbin for his handling of the situation, while Fentuo Tahiru remarked that Bagbin’s decision was unexpected and surprised many.
