God will "strike dead" anyone who dares Akufo-Addo – NPP Guru

The Eastern regional chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Kingston Kissi, has prayed God to “strike dead” anyone who attempts to derail the presidential ambition of the two-time presidential candidate of the party, Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to him, the overwhelming victory of the former attorney general in Sunday’s Super delegates congress is an indication that he has been chosen by God to lead the party.

Akufo-Addo garnered over 80 percent of the total valid votes cast in the ballot meant to whittle down the number of flagbearer aspirants from seven to five.

His closest contender Alan Kyeremanteng managed a paltry 7.97 percent.

Speaking to Accra-based Adom FM, Mr. Kissi said the party will no longer tolerate “the nonsense” from the Alan camp.

“Now the elections are over, and Nana Addo has won massively, let Nana Ohene Ntow and his people keep quiet and stop accusing people for their loss.

“I am warning those who are seeking to work against Akufo-Addo, we will not allow them. In fact, God will strike dead anyone who works against the presidential ambitions of Akufo-Addo,” he stated.
