I Will Defeat Lion If Am Elected

Mr .Simeon Nii Teye Narteh, the youngest aspirant in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, has told NPP delegates on his campaign tour over the weekend at Zenu to close their ranks so that they can defeat and chase both the NDC and “Lion” to the bush.

According to the former Constituency Youth Organiser 2012 is the best chance for the NPP to claim the seat from the NDC. According to him the recent defection from the NDC have shown that the seating MP Nii Laryea Afotey and the NDC have lost touch with the constituents and the electorates are prepared to change him come 2012. He accused the MP of dumping the Constituency for his personal gain and appealed to him to humbly concede defeat when the result is declared in 2012.

“We will not be prepared for any power sharing in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency after the 2012 election” he said.

The outspoken former youth organiser cautioned the NDC to refrain from any form of harassment or intimation of members of the NPP in the Constituency because the NPP will resist any form of intimidation and ensure that the ballot box is protected till the winner has been declared.

“Our foot soldiers are prepared to defend the party and the Constituency Executives are committed to the course”.

He lauded the commitment and determination of both the current and past Constituency Executives, Council of elders and Patrons to close their ranks and said it is a sign of victory for 2012.

He promised delegates that he will work hand in hand with them to achieve victory in the 2012 election when elected as the Parliamentary Candidate. He assured them that they shall be the forerunners of his campaign when elected and will make sure that resources that will be required by the polling station to execute the strategy are fairly distributed to the grassroots.

He thanked delegates for the unflinching support they have given him ever since the inception of his campaign and appealed to them to vote massively during the primaries this weekend to show their total support for him .According to him, he is the only person who has the capacity and ability to unite and represent the interest of the party both at the Constituency level and in Parliament.

He promised to bring development to the Constituency when elected in the 2012 election as the Member of Parliament with respect to education, job creation, health, entertainment, improve the current status of roads and above all project the image of the Constituency.
