Paul Afoko Paul Afoko

The suspended National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Paul Afoko has described as ‘risible’ allegations that he has taken monies from the ruling government to scuttle the electoral victory of Nana Akufo Addo.

According to him, he comfortable and content with what he has and will not allow anyone to buy his conscience which remains one of his priceless assets to something in favour of such a person.

“I grew up in a family that I was comfortable in, my dad was fairly comfortable and he made us all comfortable. At age 20 my dad bought me an American sports car. I’m an entrepreneur and I’m doing well.”

There have been allegations that the embattled National Chairman has received an undisclosed amount of money to ensure that Akufo-Addo loses the upcoming November 7 polls.

Mr. Afoko was suspended by the NPP’s National Executive Committee over alleged misconduct and a breach of the party’s constitution; a decision which was upheld by the party’s National Council.

But with Bola Ray Wednesday, Mr. Afoko stated that he is comfortable in life, adding that taking money from the NDC will be the last thing to do.
