Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has vowed not to reveal the identity of the winner of the upcoming 2024 elections.
According to him, God has already revealed the winner of the general elections to him, but he will neither predict nor inform the public about it.
He explained that his decision is not due to the criticisms and vilification he faces from Ghanaians after making such prophecies.
Rev. Owusu Bempah made this known during an interview on Okay FM.
“I know the reason for my decision not to predict the winner of this year’s election. Although I know who the winner is, I will not disclose it. I will only share this information with individuals if I meet them.
“Even my church members don’t know my political alignment for this year. I have decided not to prophesy about the election, so I am quietly observing those predicting victories for the NDC and NPP. And my decision is not because of what the Peace Council and Christian Council said.”
Addressing concerns that some prophecies could lead to problems, he asserted that prophecies do not cause trouble but alert people about what lies ahead, allowing them to be cautious.
However, he criticized the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, for prohibiting pastors from making prophetic declarations about the elections.
“That is why I always say I will never agree with what Dampare said about pastors not making prophetic declarations that could cause trouble. No prophecy causes trouble; rather, it informs people of what is to come so they can be cautious."
