Incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, Samuel Nartey George has said he's certain of winning the party's parliamentary primaries.

The former presidential staffer stressed that he is confident of defeating his contender, Micheal Tettey by a greater margin than that which for his former MP, E.T Mensah suffered in the run-up to the 2016 elections.

Micheal Tettey, who is the constituency chairman for the Ningo-Prampram electoral area is hoping to unseat Sam George to represent his party in the constituency for the 2020 general.

But Sam George who is definite of retaining his position as the NDC candidate says his records as an MP is unmatched and cannot be contested by anyone in the constituency.

Speaking at a ceremony where he extended support to 70 constituents in various business fields under the MPs Livelihood Support Program, the MP said he has faith in the delegates.

“I’m going in with the goodwill that I have with my people, a lot of people think that the election is going to be fierce, but I don’t see him as competition”, said.

“They would pick substance over form, I bring substance to the table, they will not chase after shadows”, he reiterated his confidence in the delegates.

The Ningo Prampram MP is optimistic that the victory coming his way, will way exceed that which he chalked against the then incumbent MP, E.T Mensah, to represent the constituency in the 2016 general elections.

“I have heard the voices of the delegates loud and clear and I can assure you of one thing, it’s going to be a loud resounding victory possibly bigger than the victory against E.T Mensah”, he said.
