Kofi Akpaloo, the presidential candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has asserted that he will be declared the winner of the 2024 presidential elections.

He stated that it was time to end the duopoly of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He argued that the two parties had failed the country and that it was time for a new party to take over.

Mr. Akpaloo told Frontline anchor Kwabena Agyapong that he is the only candidate who cares about the nation and will implement policies to improve people’s lives.

He promised to create a $10 billion fund to assist young entrepreneurs and others seeking to start businesses.

He restated his commitment to the child benefit policy, which states that every Ghanaian child will receive 500 cedis monthly.

He stated that the money is to assist parents in raising their children.

He also promised that all unemployed youth over the age of 18 will receive 700 cedis in unemployment compensation.

He stated that the money would be paid by the central government under his leadership.

“I will win this election hands down because my manifesto contains the best and most realistic policies when compared to those of the NDC and NPP. I am optimistic that I will win the election. I would be declared the winner of the 2024 elections and sworn in as president,” he said.
