Nana Akufo-Addo Nana Akufo-Addo

Flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo is promising Ghanaians an economic turnaround in record time, when the party is voted into power in the upcoming December 7 election.

According to him, the NPP have people who have the needed experience in both public and private sectors to salvage Ghana’s dwindling economic fortunes.

The three-time presidential candidate has resumed his campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday. The tour marks the beginning of the second phase of his campaign ahead of the December polls.

Addressing a teeming crowd of party supporters at Adentan, where he introduced the Parliamentary Candidate for the area, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, Nana Akufo-Addo appealed to Ghanaians to repose trust in him and elect him as President on his third consecutive attempt.

“I tried becoming the President first in 2008, I was unsuccessful, I tried again in 2012 and I failed again.

"This year is my third try at the Presidency, I plead that you help me achieve this feat in order to give Ghana the kind of quality and effective leadership that it deserves.

"God has blessed the NPP and it is endowed with men and women who when put in positions of authority will cause a positive turnaround of Ghana’s economic situation in no time, which will also give the masses the economic power and jobs that remains yearned for," he said.
