One of the aspiring parliamentary candidates for the new patriotic party in the Asutifi South Constituency in the Ahafo region has assured members of the party of winning the seat for the first when elected.
Alhaji Ali Suraj says he has all it takes to match the incumbent Member of Parliament in the area in the upcoming general elections.
"I am very experienced and know how to play my cards well." ALI SURAJ told gathering of NPP members after he has filed his nomination at the constituency party office.
Alhaji Suraj says he has been assured of victory in the upcoming primaries and therefore he would channel every into the general election.
One of the past contestants of the Asutifi South constituency on the ticket of the NPP, Boakye Boateng appeals to the delegates to rally behind the Aspirant to win the seat for the first time in the history of Ghana's elections.
Mr. Boateng says Suraj is more likely to win the seat for the party than him, reason he rescinded his decision to contest this time round.
"Most of the voters here are northerners and they would love to see their own brother leading them." Mr. Boateng says adding that, the aspirant is the best bet for the party.
Mr. Boateng promised to support Mr. Suraj in issues-based campaign go the seat for the party.
