Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Ho-East launches campaign

Akoete (V/R), Nov. 18, GNA - Dr Samuel Charles Buame, 48, an Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Ho-East Constituency, has launched his political campaign at Akoete, assuring his constituents of his ability to solve the peculiar development problems in the area. Dr Buame, a Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Legon, is contesting the seat with Mrs Juliana Jocelyn Azumah-Mensah of National Democratic Congress; Mr David Dzorkpe of New Patriotic Party; Mr Gabriel Gbedjoh of Convention People's Party; Miss Sarah Kporku of Peoples National Convention and Miss Alice Ami Gonnie of the EGLE Party.

He said as an Independent MP, he would be in the best position to work with any political party that would be elected in the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary polls and mobilise the human, social and economic resources to facilitate development.

Dr Buame said his development priorities when voted as Member of Parliament in Election 2004 would include the improvement of water; health; education and road infrastructure and create employment for the youth.

He said he had adopted the symbol of a key, which he said would unlock the potentials of the Constituency and open the way to its fair share of development and opportunities.
