The NPP MP for the Tema west, lawyer Irene Naa Torshie Addo who is contesting to retain her seat in Parliament for 2012 has rendered an apology to the people and chiefs of sakumono for disrupting a developmental meeting organized by the community.
It may be recall that Naa Torshie on Monday 29, 2012 entered a meeting venue and caused havoc. A meeting organized by the people of sakumono to discuss economic development of the area, the lawyer sensing danger thought it was an NDC press conference, and went in and disrupted the meeting.
Our reporter present at the time of the incident indicated that Naa torshie was arrested by the sakumono police and sent in for questioning.
