John Boadu, the Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh on his selection as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the NPP's ticket in the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.

Mr Boadu, a former General Secretary of the NPP noted that Mr. Opoku Prempeh was chosen from a pool of qualified and capable candidates, underscoring the trust and expectations vested in him.

He emphasized that Ghana currently lacks a viable alternative with such pragmatic solutions, reaffirming the belief that Dr. Bawumia remains the only candidate with the economic expertise to address these pressing issues.

Mr. Boadu outlined the policies needed to overcome these challenges, including fiscal consolidation, economic diversification, improving the business environment, and enhancing social protection.
