We find recent negative comments made by James Kwabena Bomfeh (Kabila), the so called National Youth Organiser of the CPP as very unfortunate. Studies revealed that he was one of the negative vices which worked against the party, perhaps it has reached him resulting in his unwillingness to run again for his position in the party. The early congress might also be to get ride of liabilities before CPP goes into battle.
The CPP constitution does not prevent any individual from conducting research to assess his/her chances in an election at any point in time. We believe that the findings of the Nduom 2012 Exploratory Committee would help the CPP very much if they are taken seriously and acted upon.
We note with regret that wherever Kabila has the opportunity to talk about the findings, he has intentionally avoided talking about observations in the report and rather resorted to accusing and attacking the person of Dr. Nduom. Mr. Bomfeh, you represent what majority of Ghanaians resent about the great CPP, ‘A loud mouthed empty barrel.’ The Nduom train has taken off, nothing you do or say will derail this speed gathering developmental oriented locomotive. You will be left reacting as opposed to doing anything progressive to contribute to the good fortunes of the great CPP.
The general Ghanaian public would be a better judge of who helps the CPP and who doesn’t. Dr. Nduom and other great people of the CPP will continue to be champions of truth and fighters for the disenfranchised. Dr Nduom and other great CPPist will continue to build structure, recruit GOD fearing, respectable youth into the party; Dr Nduom and other CPPist will continue to expend resources to fight inorder to attain power; Dr nduom and other great CPPist will NOT be deterred in the common destiny of TRUE change for Ghanaians.
We wish to state once again that the purpose of the exploratory committee was to find out what had caused the failure of the CPP and Dr. Nduom in the 2008 elections, determine if he should contest for President in 2012 or not and to find out what measures ought to be put in place to ensure victory in 2012. We do not think anyone with an aim of helping the CPP would see this as a sign of indiscipline.
The CPP needs a lot of people to speak for it, not against it. Kabila has a lot of energy. He should channel it into speaking for the party and not for others. If he does that, he will find that there is more for him to do than to impress other political parties.
CPP National Youth Organizer, what will a national survey say about your stewardship, is that why you did not run again?
