Mr. Rodulph Kobi Sebuabeh, a business mogul in Kpone-Katamanso, says he is the constituency's choice to replace incumbent Member of Parliament, Joseph Laryea Afotey Agbo.
He said this when summiting his nomination forms at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency office in Kpone.
In a telephone interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr. Sebuabeh noted that it was time the NDC in Kpone Katamanso united to rescue power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP)
The businessman explained that, the electoral fortunes of the party in the area kept dwindling and he was the only candidate to solve that problem.
According to him, he would make the party more attractive when given the opportunity to serve as the member of Parliament for the constituency.
Five aspirants had picked up nomination forms to contest and represent Kpone Katamanso on NDC's ticket in the country's legislative house after the incumbent decided not to contest.
Meanwhile, checks at the Ningo- Prampram Constituency office of NDC indicated that the constituency Chairman, Mr. Michael Kwetey Tetteh, had also filed his nomination forms to lock horns with the Incumbent Member of Parliament Mr. Samuel Nartey George.
Mr.Enerst Norgbe Member of Parliament for the Ashaiman constituency also filed his forms to seek reelection.
Aspirants were expected to be vetted from 24 to 25 of July whilst 24 August 2019 has been slated for the primaries across all the country.
