Kyerematen begins tour of Brong Ahafo Region

Accra, July 20, GNA - Mr. Alan John Kyerematen, seeking to become the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate for Election 2012, has begun a week's tour of the Brong Ahafo Region on Tuesday.

Mr Kyerematen and his campaign team would visit Jaman North and South and Berekum constituencies and undertake door-to-door interaction with the people and solicit the votes of delegates.

A statement signed by Mr. Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Spokesperson for Mr. Kyerematen, copied GNA, said that the team would also visit other constituencies in the Region.

It said the presidential aspirant " would present himself as the best candidate for the NPP in the 2010 Election because of his vision, hard work and industry and appeal to floating voters to support NPP" and call on the chiefs to pay his respects and seek their wise counsel.

The statement said that Mr. Kyerematen's campaign in the Brong Ahafo would end his of the country.

It said that the aspirant's core message has been to assure both polling station and constituency executives of his readiness to empower them should he win the August 7 NPP primaries.

The statement said that "Mr. Kyerematen believes that the NPP can best win Election 2012, using polling station executives as the main campaign team supported by well organised constituency executive oversight and regional and national executives are expected to provide strategic direction."
