Leave the collation centres and return home - NDC to supporters

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has asked party members and agents stationed at collation centers nationwide to leave the centres and return home.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, the party urged members, party agents, and sympathizers to trust the leadership of the party to manage the rest of the process.

"Your commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the process has been remarkable and inspiring. At this juncture, we call on all our members who have dutifully stationed themselves at collation centers across the country to now leave these centers and return home. This is the time to trust the leadership and the technical staff of our great party to fully manage the rest of the process," it noted.

The party indicated that its leadership is poised to ensure that every aspect of the collation and declaration process is properly handled.

"Our party's leadership, together with our team of experienced professionals, is fully prepared and equipped to ensure that every aspect of the collation and declaration process is handled diligently and transparently. Rest assured, we are committed to upholding the will of the people and protecting every vote cast for the NDC," it added.

It praised the commitment of its supporters in safeguarding the integrity of the elections.

"We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our members, agents, and supporters for your remarkable and inspiring efforts in ensuring the electoral process remains transparent and secure," it noted.

The NDC reassured its supporters that it is committed to protecting every vote cast for the party and upholding the will of the people.

"We urge you to stay united, resolute, and focused on the goal. Together, we will secure the victory that Ghana deserves," it added.
