tells politicians
A social engineer and mobilizer Nathaniel Ebo Nsarko has asked all Ghanaians to be in league in striving to ensure that the peace that the nation has enjoyed over the years remains intact, unscathed and unhurt before, during and after the elections. He maintains that peace is the most import ingredient needed to facilitate any development agenda of the nation and hence it is important that Ghana be in one accord to ensure that the peace that we have is not hurt. Mr. Ebo Nsarko corroborating his claim, said this when he met a section of past footballers and coaches at a media section at the Accra sports stadium to brief them about an impending soccer gala between political parties and some amalgamated groups, aimed at dousing the rising tension that has enveloped the national biometric registration exercise which provides a veritable prelude to what one can anticipate during the general elections, citing examples from the growing incidence of violence in the Odododiodoo constituency. He said no individual must allow him or herself to be used by any politician to satisfy his or her personal aggrandizement. Stating that today hate speech is what has become the order of the day in both the print and the electronic media with politicians leading the crusade for violence in the country. It is important that we allow the state institutions to work without creating any form of inhibitions in the form of political influence on them. He said Ghana must learn from its neigbouring countries how political unrest has raided and thwarted it development agenda and strive to ensure that it does not find itself in a similar fashion. Mr. Nsarko cautioned the government not to interfere with the state security agencies but rather equip them for them to give off their best and also asked the opposition parties to be responsible for the kind of statement they make ensuring that they do not fuel any tribal conflicts which has the potential to plunge the nation into chaos. Mr. Ebo Nsarko is presently leading an advocacy crusade against acts that has the capacity to plunge the nation into chaos and as part of activities to drum home the need to maintain peace and unity he is putting all the various political groupings including two political giants, the NPP and the NDC together to play a commemorative football match as a gesture to append their signature for peace in the coming elections. The political tolerance Soccer Gala is slated for the Accra Sports Stadium on the 13th of may, a select side encompassing players from all he political Parties named POLITICAL STARS UNITED will be in one team will play against some amalgamated groupings and associations which also includes MUSIGA XI, MEDIA XI, NASFAAG XI, OLD BLACK STARS and the RELIGIOUS XI. Mr. Nsarko also intimated that all political parties have agreed to participate in the coming gala to send a signal to their supporters that Ghana needs peace to develop urging all well meaning Ghanaians who believe in peace and unity to throng to the stadium to be part of this historic event.
