MP for Lower Manya shows love to afflicted party executives

The Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo in the eastern region, Hon Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi has paid visitations to a number of sick executives of the party in the constituency.

The MP in an interview after the exercise averred that he used the season of Easter to show love and encouragement to the affected.

“My party executives and I decided to, on this day, visit executives of the national Democratic Congress Party who are currently indisposed in the one way or the other and encourage them,” said the Honourable Member of Parliament. “We discovered that they are sick in various forms and we presented some items and some money to them.”

The eight executives, mostly women and branch executives are currently recuperating from various afflictions including Parkinson’s disease, accidents and general ill-health and the law maker used the season of Easter to present assorted toiletories, provisions and money to facilitate their recoveries.

The MP, currently serving his second term as Member of Parliament for the area was accompanied by the constituency chairman, David Walter Yao, Women’s organizer, and other party bigwigs in the constituency on the visits.

Mr. Terlabi is also bearing the cost of the medical bills of the executives who have over the past few months and years lived with the conditions from which they are currently recovering.

The beneficiaries include Elder Samuel Jinji; Mr. Salomey Amewokpor, a branch women’s organizer; Joseph Matse Wayo, an executive member and Mabel Gberkuor, a women’s organizer.

The rest are Emmanuel Okletey Apertey, a branch secretary; Ebenezer Tetteh, an executive member; Beatrice Bapalime, a branch women’s organizer; Cecelia Kwame, branch women’s organizer and Reverend Ebenezer Narh, a party elder.
