Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Director of Elections and Information Technology for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed confidence that the incoming government of President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will restore dignity and integrity to the presidency.

This comes after widespread perceptions that the previous administration, led by Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, was marred by corruption and scandals.

Speaking ahead of Mahama’s inauguration, Dr. Boamah, stated that the Mahama-Opoku-Agyemang presidency marks a new era of dignity and integrity, and will activate the 24-Hour Economy Policy, a key pillar in their agenda to revitalize Ghana’s economy.

To achieve this, Mahama has appointed Augustus Goosie Tanoh, a renowned economist and statesman, as the lead architect of the 24-Hour Economy policy.

As Ghanaians welcome their new leaders, expectations are high for a brighter future under the Mahama-Opoku-Agyemang administration.

Dr. Boamah said, “I believe John Mahama and Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang’s presidency signals a restoration of dignity and integrity to the presidency. And that is where the 24-hour will be activated from.”

Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama and Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang have been sworn in as President and Vice President respectively.
