Mahama's Boy In Trouble

‘VOLCANIC ERUPTION’

NDC Hawks After His blood

By Gaisie Jackson

Credible information reaching The Citizen Newspaper indicates that the National Democratic Congress' defeat in the Awutu Senya East constituency in both the parliamentary and presidential elections has put the life of the former NDC Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya Alhaji Babalamie Abu Sadat in great danger as NDC hawks in the Constituency are calling for his blood, accusing him of causing the defeat of the party in the just ended elections.

According to the information, a leading member of the Party in the constituency (name withheld for now) has been cited as the brain behind the wicked plot to eliminate Alhaji Babalamie Abu Sadat who is a special aide to President John Mahama.

The information further had it that the former MP for Awuutu Senya campaigned for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the run up to the 2012 elections and that this alleged treasonable action on the part of Alhaji Baabalamie Abu Sadat was the main cause of the NDC party’s defeat in the area in the last elections.

Based on the above political tension in the constituency, a group calling itself Concerned NDC Supporters in the Awutu Senya East constituency are calling on both the Regional and National executives of the party to as a matter of urgency institute investigations into the allegation as to how the party lost in Awutu Senya East in the last election and help resolve the internal wrangling before lives are lost in the party.

The group also stated that the leading members of the party in Awutu Senya East did the same thing when former president Mills was alive but could not succeed in breaking the good relationship between the late President and Alhaji Babablamie Abu Sadat.

According to the group, the same people have come back with their old tricks seeing the better relationship between Babalamie and President John Dramani Mahama, insisting that the history of the NDC in Awutu Senya East cannot be written without mentioning the name of Alhaji Babalamie.

The group however noted that Babalamie donated a number of ‘T’ Shirts and posters to support the Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Adams Nuhu and the campaign team during the campaign.

Again Babalamie donated ten bags of rice and eight gallons of cooking oil to feed party polling agents on Election Day and even visited about fifty two polling stations to ensure that the party was on course just after he had returned from a surgery mission in Saudi Arabia.

The group said it is illogical to blame such a dedicated and loyal party member for the NDC’s defeat in Awutu Senya East.
