Former Deputy Communications Minister Felix Ofosu Kwakye has come out in strong support of former President John Dramani Mahama, stating that he has already proven himself worthy of leading the country.
According to Kwakye, Mahama's capabilities are self-evident and do not require a presidential debate to demonstrate them.
This comes after the flagbearer for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, called on Mahama for a debate, but Kwakye believes that Mahama's recent press engagements have already showcased his leadership abilities, making a debate unnecessary.
Speaking to OTEC News reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, Kwakye emphasized that Mahama's interactions with the press have been more insightful than any debate could be.
He argued that Mahama's leadership style is action-oriented and that his track record speaks for itself.
"Former President Mahama has already demonstrated his leadership capabilities through his actions and press engagements. A debate is not needed to prove his worth; his achievements speak louder than words," he said.
