Deputy Minister of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has applauded President Mahama for his comprehensive respond to all the 26 questions posed to him by media personnel in the three-hour uninterrupted interaction to address concerns of Ghanaians.

As custom demands, President John Mahama at the Flagstaff House in a press briefing met the media to interact with them to address many issues on the minds of Ghanaians and also to offer assurances of hope to all.

With regards to the Gitmo saga, President Mahama revealed there was no monetary consideration for accepting to host the two ex-detainees, adding that he is a compassionate Christian to extend help to the people who were wrongfully detained.

Addressing the many taxes imposed on Ghanaians, President Mahama said they are meant to offset some old debt of VRA and some road contractors, emphasizing that the many taxes imposed on Ghanaians are also investments which the citizens will benefit in the end.

Commenting on the responses given by President Mahama, Felix Kwakye Ofosu on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show said the President has demonstrated his in-depth knowledge of the happenings in all the sectors around.

“President Mahama was on top in his brief when he addressed the media. He did very well and he demonstrated that he is still strong to the extent that he stood for 3 hours to answer and explain things to Ghanaians through the media,” he averred.

He added that “the president is also knowledgeable on the job and he has followed all the issues going on in the country; he understands the job given to him and he has shown he knows what he is doing and the people who listened to him understood his explanations. In fact, he gave comprehensive explanations to all the questions put to him”.
