The newly elected parliamentary candidate for the Manhyia South Constituency, Nana Adjei Baffour Awuah, has pledged to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with a united front to secure victory in the 2024 polls.

He made this promise after winning the party's parliamentary primary on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Lawyer Baffour Awuah garnered 376 votes, defeating his main competitor, Nana Owusu Prempeh, who secured 141 votes.

Other candidates, James Owusu and Akwasi Coker Gyambibi received 7 and 2 votes, respectively.

In his victory speech, Lawyer Baffour Awuah called on all party faithful to work together and support the NPP's quest to retain power in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving victory and urged all party members to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal.

"We must work together to achieve victory in 2024. I pledge to lead the party with a united front and ensure that we retain power. Let us put our differences aside and work towards a common goal," he said.
