Manu campaigns in the Volta Region

Ho, Nov 11, GNA - Mr Peter Mac Manu, 52, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspiring National Chairman, has called on delegates who would attend the December National Delegates Congress of the party to vote for him to become the next National Chairman.

Talking to journalists before meeting some polling station executives from Ho, Tongu and the South Dayi districts, Mr Manu, a businessman, said the time had come for him to use his political skills to promote the party to win the next elections.

"I will put a searchlight on swing votes and minority tribes and build teams that will activate and integrate them into NPP fold when I am voted to be the National Chairman of the party,'' he said. Mr Manu said women and youth groups of the party would be strengthened and made more vibrant in the party's activities and programmes.

"My political experience spans from polling station agent, through constituency executive to become twice the Western Regional Chairman of the party".
