With just three weeks until the 2024 general elections, private legal practitioner Manuel Sawyerr has reaffirmed his commitment and support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
In a brief but vibrant ceremony, Sawyerr presented 15 high-power motorbikes to facilitate operations in various electoral areas within the constituency.
The electoral areas benefiting from this gesture include Legon, Roman Ridge, Okponglo, East Legon, Shiashie, West Legon, Bawaleshie, Mempeasem, Abelemkpe, Tesano, Dzorwulu, and Airport.
The Youth, Women's, and Nassara wings of the party also received some motorbikes for their operations.
Additionally, 4,000 branded T-shirts were provided for the final campaign push in the electoral areas, along with 2,000 posters featuring both the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary candidate, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP's presidential candidate.
The donation was received by Constituency Executives, led by Chairman Alhaji Osman, and the MP and Parliamentary Candidate, Lydia Seyiram Alhassan, who doubles as Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
Manuel Sawyerr, known for his generosity, was commended for his ongoing support, referencing similar donations made in the 2016 and 2020 elections. His commitment to the NPP has led to similar contributions to other constituencies across the country.
Currently serving as a member of the constituency's Council of Patrons and Chairman of his polling station, Sawyerr pledged unconditional support for the constituency. He encouraged all present to mobilise voters to ensure a massive turnout and victory for the NPP.
Constituency executives, polling station officials, and volunteers expressed profound gratitude to Lawyer Sawyerr for his contributions to the 2024 elections.
