Mills Is Not Scared Of Akufo-Addo

Political pundits, analysts or observers that believe that the election of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the NPP presidential candidate is sending shivers down the spine of NDC presidential candidate, Professor John Evans Atta-Mills, and possibly giving him sleepless nights must be terribly miscalculating, at least, according to the camp of the Law Professor.

The Mills camp believes that the track record of the NPP flagbearer as per the area of economics, academia, performance in public service as well as having a good message for Ghanaians in this year of elections, is second to that of the NDC flagbearer, to whom he is no match in any way. There is therefore no way Prof. Mills would be scared of Nana Akufo Addo.

If Prof. Mills has any headaches as far as all the four presidential aspirants are concerned, the least of those headaches will be the candidature of Nana Akufo-Addo, the special assistant to Prof Mills, Koku Anyidoho said confidently in an exclusive interview with the Independent newspaper at the close of week at the party’s Kuku Hill office at Osu in Accra.

Mr. Anyidoho debunked the assertion that his candidate is scared of the Akufo-Addo ticket of the NPP. He asserted that Mills-being-scared-of-Akufo-Addo was merely a psychological ploy, and insisted that, Prof. Mills is not scared of any of the aspirants, least of all the NPP candidate. According to him, Nana Addo is only good at rumbling and that when it comes to articulation of personal vision, concrete message for Ghanaians and the issue of enviable public service, the NDC candidate will completely floor the NPP candidate.
