The National Youth Organiser of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Haruna Iddrisu, says his party?s presidential candidate, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, will within 90 days of his (Prof. Mills) tenure of office as President of Ghana, find the murderers of the late Overlord of Dagbon, Ya Na Yakubu Andani.
Utterances of NDC party chiefs on the unfortunate murder of the Ya Na some two years ago, suggest that the heinous act constitutes the most biggest weapon in the arsenal of the campaign armoury of the NDC as it seeks to unseat the incumbent NPP in the impending elections.
Whilst peace loving and well-meaning citizens and civil society groups continue to urge circumspection in comments on the murder of the Ya Na and some of his associates, key officials of the NDC and some of their followers have often gone to the length of even negating attempts to unravel the mystery surrounding the murder of the three High Court Judges and a retired military officer at the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) with the inability to apprehend those who murdered the Ya-Na.
The NDC design to do politics with the murder of the Ya Na was given a further boost in the arm at the Techiman South constituency of the NDC when Harruna Iddrisu addressed NDC supporters during the inauguration of the constituency?s Youth and Women?s Wings (or the NDC) last week.
