Bolgatanga Central Member of Parliament Isaac Adongo has questioned the focus of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, on frivolous matters during his campaign.

Adongo criticised Dr. Opoku Prempeh, affectionately known as NAPO, for focusing on nonsense rather than promoting his party's policies since the start of his campaign.

Adongo made these remarks at the Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga after submitting his nomination forms.

“I want this message to go directly to my brother NAPO. You hear what I said? One rally, one bomb. One rally, one stupidness. Tell the people what you can do for them,” Adongo said.

He continued, “You are fighting against dead people. You are fighting against your own selves. And you have so far not delivered any policy message.”

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has apologised multiple times for his controversial statements and choice of words since the beginning of his campaign.
