NDC, Beware Of Boakye Djan

Commentary

The devil we know, we are told, can be contained far better than the angel we do not know; and it is based on this adage that The Informer, being representative of the masses and voice of the voiceless, in its wisdom, would advise the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to pause, ponder, and take, at least, a second look at the political antics of Osahene (Major) Boakye Djan (rtd).
Yes; it is undeniable fact, that prominent personalities becoming members of political parties calls for great joy, but for Boakye Djan, it is completely the opposite since his spouting up on to the NDC’s horizon, we can predict, will haunt the party forever; as it has already begun to.

Major Boakye Djan, picking up nomination forms and going through all the necessary processes, as he made us known on air; per the NDC’s constitution to contest in the next year’s general elections on the party’s ticket at the Jaman South Constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region, as a Member of Parliamentary (MP) after his previous failed attempt to get that seat as an independent candidate in 2008, even before the party finishes with its vetting process, to us, is a bad omen. It seems a political magic has been at play.

Dangerously avowed critic of the Rawlings’ regime, in what commonplace people swore was sour grapes; and a man brought purposely from his hide-out by ex-President John Kufuor and his NPP government soon after they took office in 2001, to disgrace the NDC and its founder during the so-called National Reconciliation Commission, what then has become so special and politically attractive about Major Djan today that the NDC thinks he is the best thing that has ever happened to it?

Of all the lies he concocted and spewed at the beck and call of his paymasters about former President Jerry John Rawlings and some leading members of the NDC since he returned to Ghana in 2001 and the years after, what has affected his mental process, so favourably that today the NDC has become his darling party, after years of attempts to destroy its founder?

Knowing what Boakye Djan is capable of doing and has done to the NDC and its founder, The Informer agrees perfectly with some leading members of the party like Hon. Fiifi Kwetey and Kofi Adams who have publicly come out to condemn the move.

It is undeniable fact that politics strives on numbers but in the case of Boakye Djan joining the NDC will be of no benefit since he is a character that cannot be trusted.

He is welcome into the party, but as clearly pointed out by earlier speakers; Boakye Djan must join the queue and must be disqualified not to contest the Jaman South seat on the NDC’s ticket.

Boakye Djan is a traitor and can be a mole, so NDC, be careful and don’t give a dog chance to destroy the fortunes of the party come December 2012.
And to those of you, showering money on Boakye Djan, we are aware and will not stop at nothing to expose you since the NDC does not in any way belong to you.
Again, we feel very sorry for those social commentators doing the bidding of a character like Boakye Djan who has the proclivity of destroying people and will come after them and we don’t care who may be affected in the process.
Those who have made it their business to be raining insults on people who have expressed their opinion to the extent of referring to them as ‘stupid’ should go ahead but we promise them a very handsome reward in their bid to fill their stomach; and they will regret the very day they were conceived by their mothers.
