NDC Old Folks Of Parliament Red-Carded

From all indications, some NDC old folks in Parliament to due their abysmal performance in the House and their constituency have pushed delegates to snub them in their on-going primaries in the country.
In some parts of the country in the various constituencies, some sitting Members of Parliament have been shown the red-card to exit their seat because they do not deserve the seat anymore.
In the Volta Region, Mr Larssey Agbenyefia was rejected and replaced by no mean a person than the Propaganda Chief of the NDC, Mr Courage Quashigah. In the North Tongu constituency, Mr Charles Hodogbey was shocked at the decision of the delegates. The young Deputy Information Minister, Okudzeto Ablakwa won massively over the incumbent MP. Several government Deputy Ministers and NDC activists thronged the constituency in support of Ablakwa. In the Ho Central, Mr Emmanuel Kpodo defated the veteran Major Retd Captain Nfojoh.
In the Eastern part of the country, Michael Teye Nyaunu who is believed to be a faction of the Rawlingses and a critic of the Mills government was shown the exit by the Deputy Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Ebenezer Terlarbi in the Lower Manya Krobo constituency.
Mr Stephen Amanor Kwao was given the dismissal and replaced by Jeff Kavianu for the Upper-Manya Krobo constituency candidacy ticket.
Another shocker was registered in the Mfantsiman East constituency of the Central region where Incumbent Kuntu Blankson the first majority chief whip was booted out for Kobena Abakah. Ato Amoah was the victor over the incumbent MP and Deputy Education Minister, Elizabeth Ati-Morkwa for the Twifo Atti-Morkwa Constituency ticket.
Whiles some seating MP count their loses, others were in jubilant mood thanking their stars for emerging victorious. Deputy Speaker of Parliament Doe Adjaho, Works and Housing Minister Alban Bagbin and Communication Minister Haruna Iddrisu were declared victors unopposed by their constituents. The rest got the nod of the delegates through the ballot box.
The shocker is expected to continue in Greater Accra Regional primaries come Saturday, 28 January 2012.
