NDC activist; Sly asks Akufo Addo, kufuor for forgiveness

A popular serial caller for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sly Moshie Zongo has asked the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and former President, Kufuor to forgive him for his misconduct and “sins” towards them on various radio stations.

He said he was sorry for all the insults he hurled at them and all other NPP leaders especially when Nana Akufo Addo introduced ‘Free Education Policy’ in his campaign prior to the 2012 elections.

Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on ‘Kokrokoo’ during phone-in segment on Friday, Sly as he is popularly called said, even though he is still a member of the ruling NDC, he regrets campaigning for the party and President Mahama because of what he referred to as corruption epidemic in the party.

“The Corruption and blowing of cash is now too much in the NDC, I insulted Kufuor for eight good years till the NDC came to power but did not get anything in return”. Sly told Peace FM’s Kwami Sefa Kayi.

“Nana Akufo Addo and President Kufuor should forgive me…when he (Nana) said he will bring free education I said he couldn’t do it; and insulted him on radio, now all my children are in the house not going to school…I am sorry for insulting him and I plead he forgives….” apologetic Sly said.
