Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer aspirant, Goosie Tanoh has advised party delegates to scrutinize messages of various flagbearer hopefuls to avoid following blindly.
“I want you to take your power seriously, think for yourself and do not follow blindly.”
According to him, several promises will be made by his contenders and therefore, there is the need for delegates to sieve what message is doable from what is not, which will eventually aid them in electing the right person to lead the party.
“In pushing the progressive agenda of the NDC we are not going to make false promises but calculate how much to invest, where to invest and what jobs to create to benefit the country” Goosie Tanoh told some delegates at Dodowa in the Greater Accra region as part of his five-day tour of the region.
He is however optimistic his message will get down to the delegates of the party, resulting in massive endorsement for his candidature in December.
Meanwhile, popular pollster and Chief Editor of the Daily Dispatch Ben Ephson has tipped former President John Mahama to win the contest.
