The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, will lead his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, to pay a courtesy call on the Central Regional House of Chiefs.

The NDC flagbearer and his running mate are expected in the Central Region on July 30, 2024.

The joint courtesy call follows the successful launch of the NDC’s campaign for the 2024 elections in Tamale on July 27, 2024.

The launch saw the assembly of the party executives, including the party's national chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Sammy Gyamfi, and aspiring members of parliament.

After the courtesy call, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will commence campaigning in the region.

She will tour a number of constituencies in the Central Region until Friday, when she brings the first part of her campaign tour there to a close.
