Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to upholding the rule of law in all its activities.
Ashie Moree stressed that the NDC remained a law-abiding political organisation dedicated to promoting peace and democracy in Ghana.
He said this when he visited the Tema West Constituency collation Centre at TEMASACO.
He added that the NDC was focused on fostering unity and strengthening its structures to ensure it effectively serves Ghana’s people.
The chairman urged party members and supporters to remain calm and disciplined, assuring them that the party leadership was working diligently to address their concerns through proper channels.
He mentioned that John Dramani Mahama had the experience to reset the country and assured the constituents that James Enu, the constituency’s candidate, would have all it would take to develop the constituency.
Some supporters and party executives of the NDC in the Tema West Constituency were jubilating ahead of the official declaration of the presidential and parliamentary election results in the constituency.
Dr Hanna Louisa Bissiw, the National Women’s Organiser of the NDC, pledging her unwavering support for former president John Dramani Mahama, expressed confidence in Mahama’s leadership and his ability to steer the party toward electoral victory.
She called for unity, stating that women would play a critical role in addressing the country’s current challenges.
“What Ghanaians have done for the NDC is historical, so, we are not going to take it for granted; we’re not going to joke with it; we are ready to support his excellency John Dramani Mahama, and the first woman vice president of the great nation called Ghana,” she stated.
The women’s organiser expressed sadness regarding the death of some Ghanaians who lost their lives during the general elections.
