NDC must prioritise team work

Mr Mahdi Gibrill, an aspiring National Deputy Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, has urged his compatriots to develop a team work strategy to secure victory in the 2016 general election.

Mr Mahdi said team work was a strategy that could unite party members in the given task because it would make the members see each other as one, fighting for a common goal.

He noted that team work would allow every member the opportunity to contribute their ideas, which would be paramount to make the party stand stronger for victory at all times.

Mr Mahdi made the statement in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Wednesday, during a visit to Bawku, in the company of Mr Kofi Portuphy, an aspirant for the party’s National chairmanship, Mr Harry Zakkour , National Vice chairman, and Mrs Margaret Chiravia, National Women’s organizer of the Bawku Central, Tempane and Zebilla constituencies.

He said he had strategies and plans that would help organize and strengthen the party, and so when given the nod, would focus on women and the youth because they were the driving force for the development of any institution.

Mr Mahdi said he would seek to empower the youth with the policies of the party to reach out to the people to enable the masses to understand the policies of the government.

“ I would be operating an open door administration that would also allow all those at the grassroots level to contribute to decisions of the party,” he said.

He urged party members, and Ghanaians in general, to collectively assist the President to implement policies that would save the country from its present woes but stop the kind of criticism that would bring about divisions in the country.

The NDC, he said, was committed to ensuring that it provided quality livelihoods for all Ghanaians.

The Aspirant called on all eligible voters to take the voter exhibition exercise of the Electoral Commission (E C) seriously and go and cross check their names and other particulars since that was the only way that would help them to re-give power to the NDC in 2016.
