The Functional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress has suspended a parliamentary aspirant for Atebubu-Amantin constituency Sampson Owusu Boateng.
A statement issued by the party’s General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia accused the aspirant of violating regulations governing its upcoming primaries.
Two others, Obeng Agyenim Boateng and Mohammed Sulemana who are part of the campaign team of the aspirant have also been suspended.
The conduct of the members has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the Party.
The ruling party will go to the polls on November 21 to elect its presidential and parliamentary aspirants for the 2016 elections.
