Osenase (E/R), Nov. 30, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Lower West Akyem Constituency, Mr James Appietu-Ankrah says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) "would go on political relegation" from active politics in the country, come December 7".
He said the massive votes that the NPP would poll in both the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections "would be enough blow for the NDC to loose its position as the leading opposition political party in the country".
Mr Appietu-Ankrah was addressing a rally at Osenase, near Asamankese in the West Akyem District on Sunday.
He urged NPP supporters to remain faithful and to and go out in their numbers to vote to ensure a resounding victory for the Party. Mr Appietu-Ankrah urged supporters of the Party to remain calm in the run-up towards the election to avoid any obstacles on the way of the Party's victory.
The candidate noted that the people in the Constituency had witnessed more development projects in the last four years of the NPP administration and urged them to vote for him for more of such projects.
He told the electorate that the development projects were foundations that the NPP Administration had laid in its first term and that the real benefits of the NPP's good governance would be felt in their next term of office if Ghanaians voted for the Party on December 7.
An Executive Member of the Young Executive's Forum (YEF) of the NPP, Mr Steve Kyeremateng said the increase in cocoa production attested to the fact that the NPP had delivered on it's promise of creating jobs and reducing poverty.
