Mr. Abdel Manan Abdel-Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) Africa, on Friday, advised youth leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to watch their attitudes and conducts in order to boost the party’s chances of winning the December Polls.
“If the NDC wants to win the December Polls convincingly, then you the young leaders must sit up and check your attitudes and conducts,” he said.
Mr. Abdel-Rahman gave the advice at a day’s Leadership Forum in Ho, organized by CCL Africa for selected youth leaders of the party in the Volta Region.
He said about 50 per cent of voters who cast sympathy votes did so based on the work attitude and general conduct of politicians and charged the party’s social commentators to be decent in their communication and general conduct.
Mr. Abdel-Rahman asked them to be truthful, accommodating, time conscious and peaceful.
He said politics in Ghana was no longer a matter of luck and money but the demonstration of good leadership skills and the exhibition of positive attitudes.
Mr. Abdel-Rahman exhorted the NDC youth to endeavour to do things differently in the run up to the December Polls to convince the electorates to retain the party in power.
CCL-Africa is a management and training organisation focused on youth leadership empowerment.
