The National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Kofi Adams, has stated that Ghanaians voted massively for the New Patriotic Party because they presented lies to the electorates.
According Mr. Kofi Adams, contrary to campaign promises to reduce cost of living, Ghanaians are now witnessing the opposite under the Akufo-Addo led government.
Assessing the Akufo-Addo’s government exactly a year Ghanaians went to the polls, the NDC’s National Organizer described Akufo -Addo’s government as shambolic because of he lies they packaged.
Speaking in an interview with Joy News, he cited the current power outages at some parts of Accra as examples of shambolic performances of the government.
Today marks the first anniversary of the December 7, 2016 elections, which handed the then ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) its heaviest defeat in the Fourth Republic.
It was also during this period the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho, introduced the famous “Comfortable lead” phrase.
