Mr Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's 2024 campaign, has highlighted the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) significant achievements in the health sector within the Ashanti Region.

According to Mr Aboagye, the NPP has completed 17 health projects in the region, including both new initiatives and those inherited from previous administrations.

In stark contrast, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) managed to complete only one project during their eight years in power, the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Eye Centre.

Mr Aboagye's comments underscore the NPP's commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and services in the Ashanti Region.

He emphasized the party's proactive approach in addressing the region's health needs, which has led to the completion of numerous projects, enhancing the overall healthcare delivery system.

The completed projects under the NPP's administration range from new hospital constructions to the refurbishment and upgrading of existing facilities, demonstrating the party's dedication to providing quality healthcare to the people of Ashanti.

This development is seen as a significant boost to the region's healthcare capabilities, contributing to better health outcomes for residents.

Mr Aboagye stated this on his Facebook wall dated July 26, 2024 in reaction to the raging debate that the NDC has built more hospitals in the Ashanti Region

In comparison, the NDC's record during their tenure highlights a stark difference in the prioritization and execution of healthcare projects.

The completion of only the KATH Eye Centre during their eight-year administration has drawn criticism and highlights the NPP's more extensive and effective approach to healthcare development.

Mr Aboagye's statements come as part of the ongoing campaign efforts for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is positioning himself as a candidate capable of continuing and expanding upon the NPP's developmental agenda.
