A Deputy National Security Coordinator in charge of airports, Mr Hopeson Yaovi Adorye has disclosed that the Akufo-Addo government has created a new ‘bonus’ policy— 1 NDC member 1 slap— in addition to the 1 district 1 factory, 1 village 1 dam, 1 constituency $1million policy of the government, MyNewsGh.com has filed.
“Even though the NPP did not promised 1NDC SUPPORTER 1 SLAP, we are committed to implement it as a bonus achievement.” Mr Hopeson Adorye wrote.
Mr Adorye’s comment follows series of slaps being dished around to NDC members allegedly from ruling NPP elements.
NDC MP for Ningo Prampram Sam George was slapped by masked gunmen believed to be NPP’s vigilante groups.
Same vigilantes are believed to have slapped and beaten mercilessly Edem Agbana, the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the NDC.
Yesterday, MyNewsGh.com reported how ‘loudmouthed’ Sammy Gyamfi received a slap from NPP Youth leader Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B at the studios of Asempa FM.
The NDC have since given the police 24 hours to take action on the slap.
But a statement copied to MyNewsGh.com by Nana B earlier today said even though he was unduly provoked by Sammy Gyamfi’s unwarranted attacks on the person of President Akufo-Addo and he himself, upon sober reflection, he believes he could have reacted differently.
National Security Coordinator in charge of Airports has added his voice to the slap saga. According to him, the public should consider the slaps as a new policy from government, in addition to the numerous other ones.
“Even though the NPP did not promised 1NDC SUPPORTER 1 SLAP, we are committed to implement it as a bonus achievement.” Mr Hopeson Adorye wrote.
He added “lol” to suggest he is joking. But his followers on social media would have none of that.
