NPP must consider Jerry Amponsah (Sabbato) for NYO - Zongo Youth
The recent publication by the New Statesman and the widespread of the so-called "six" contenders of the NPP National Youth Organizer position has strongly informed our decision - calling on the NPP political party hierarchy and the delegates to consider Jerry Amponsah (popularly known as Sabbato) for that extremely demanding and strategic position above.
We are ceasing this opportunity to call on the party to draw its attention to the US-based award-winning Communications Director of the NPP-New York ahead of the seemingly contested position. He was one-time an elected students' representative of Kumasi Polytechnic Ghana National Union of Polytechnic Students (GNUPS).
Sabbato we know, inside out, was born Ashanti and Christian, yet he considers himself a proud Zongo boy. He's a great affinity with the Zongo people. He's a brother and a friend for many years, and we look forward to see him fill that vacuum. He's an an affable, a friendly, and an astute political figure who has so much up his sleeves to bring to the table to woo winning votes in 2016. He gets along with everyone regardless of age, gender, religious, and tribe. Sabbato is the unmatched ultimate choice.
Aside Twi and English, he speaks fluent Hausa.
He's been a great asset to the party for over a decade. Irrespective of being outside the country, he still uses the social media and the digital technology to champion the cause of the political party. Our votes have always been with the NDC until Sabbato came into the picture to convince most of us for the NPP (in the last two elections).
He could play a strategic role in solving the over-the-top unfair perception the Zongo youths have about the NPP. He's a strong person the NPP can conveniently rely on if they are in for a serious business of winning the hearts and minds of the Zongo people. Jerry Amponsah is the unique guy to lead the youth front.
He's intelligent and eloquent to articulate the ideals, the philosophy, and the vision of the party to our good people in the Zongo communities.
The New Statesman with its social media agents has played its last card of their favourite "six." It's our turn to play our last best card: Sabbato. And we endorse him as a political star power for the NPP National Youth Organizer position.
No Sabbato, no vote!
