The Member of Parliament (MP) for Obuasi East Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Edward Anning is optimistic the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will form the new government after the December 7 polls.
He believes the prevailing hardship is enough ground for Ghanaians to force out the John Mahama-led government and make room for a more competent regime to take over the management of the economy.
“People are fed with the hardship and suffering. Mahama is losing the election….he is aware himself because the people are fed up with him and his NDC,” he said.
The legislator who spoke to Kwame Adinkra on Abusua Nkomo wondered why Ghanaians should continue to live under this precarious economy when there are alternatives to better the conditions of the suffering masses.
He reiterated the preparedness of the NPP to form the next government dispelling claims that the front of the party is fractured which could defeat its agenda of snatching power from the NDC.
“We are prepared and we will enjoy the goodwill of the people who are no longer willing to tolerate an incompetent government.
