The New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman for the Ashanti Region, Bernard Antwi Boasiako is convinced that the Nana Addo-led government will win the heart of many Ghanaians after describing his 85 days in office as “promising”.

He was emphatic that ‘a young’ Nana Addo-led administration within three months has exceeded what former President John Dramani Mahama did in his eight years of governance.

Chairman Wontumi as affectionately called dared his rivals to assess the two presidents after outlining some policies his government is yet to put into operation.

“Within three months, what President Nana Addo has achieved is far better than what Mahama and his NDC achieved in his eight years. They [NDC] cancelled teachers allowance but we have restored it . . . ,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.

He further noted that “The free education policy promised by President Nana Addo will soon kick start. NPP will be creating jobs for the youth and free tax on spare parts. So many things are in the pipeline and Nana Addo will deliver as promises. President Nana Addo's three months is far better than Mahama’s eight years.”
