Nasara Club vows to boost NPP’s appeal in the Zongos

The New Patriotic Party’s Nasara Club has pledged to work hard and make sacrifices to boost the party’s appeal to voters in the Zongo communities.

The Club said it would do everything to assist the people to have better understanding of NPP’s ideology to achieve massive electoral victory on December 7 and restore hope to Ghanaians.

Alhaji Ali Musah Zingi, the Ashanti Regional Coordinator, was speaking at the inauguration of the Atwima-Nwabiagya Constituency Nasara Club at Nkawie.

He said they would remain active in all the 39 constituencies in the region and properly coordinate their campaign activities with the party’s executives and would work through the party’s structures, right from the polling station, electoral area, constituency, and regional to the national level.

He advised the members to be disciplined and put the NPP ahead of any other interest or consideration.

Alhaji Zingi said the Club would have no place for acts of indiscipline and breaches of the party’s constitution and appealed to all genuine supporters of the party to conduct themselves well and avoid acts likely to create cracks and unnecessary distractions.

He expressed optimism about the NPP’s chances in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections, given what he termed, “the incompetence and poor performance of the Mills Administration.”

He cautioned against complacency and said all should accept “to go the extra mile” to bring the party back to power.
