No injunction on our Parliamentary Candidate - Bosome Freho NPP delegates denounce false claims

Some delegates of the NPP within the Bosome Freho Constituency of the Ashanti Region have cautioned some individuals to desist from tarnishing the reputation of their recently elected Parliamentary Candidate, Nana Kwame Asafo Adjei Ayerh.

According to the aggrieved delegates, these individuals, led by one Yaw Amoah Gyami, together with some faceless persons within the party, are creating confusion with the sole aim of negatively affecting the fortunes of the party.

According to the delegates, Yaw Amoah, after being slapped with a fine by a court over his failure to defend his own complaints lodged against the PC, is now circulating unfounded claims and blatant falsehoods in an attempt to court disaffection for the PC.

The delegates further disclosed that Mr. Amoah is spreading falsehoods that the parliamentary candidate has been injuncted by the high court, which is a palpable lie.

"He was asked by the court to pay Ghc15,000 after he had sent the PC to the court challenging his eligibility. He faced this embarrassment because the court found his claims were baseless. Now he's going around with the claims that the PC has been injuncted by the high court. He should come out with the injunction letter he's claiming. It is never true. He is a liar."

In an exclusive interview, Hon. Amoako Ogyampa, a communication member for the NPP's 2024 campaign team in the area, stated that Mr. Yaw Amoah Gyami took legal action against the elected parliamentary candidate to challenge his eligibility in the NPP parliamentary elections that were held early last year. However, the court realized how frivolous and weightless his case was, and he was fined to pay the aforementioned amount.

Hon. Amoako Ogyampa is, however, shocked by the current claims being made by the plaintiff who lost his own case. "I can see he is doing this together with some faceless individuals who do not want the success of our party, but they will never succeed in that. How can you peddle falsehood against an elected Parliamentary Candidate that he has been injuncted, which is never the case. I implore everyone to ignore his palpable lies."

Oliver Bamfo Anokye, another communication member and a delegate, said it was very unfortunate for people to perpetrate these evils, especially at this crucial moment when the NPP party wants to break the eight.

Describing it as an unfortunate evil agenda against the elected Parliamentary Candidate for the Bosome Freho Constituency, he urged Ghanaians to reject any such claims.

"It is just an evil agenda against the PC. He has not been injuncted from contesting. He still stands as the eligible candidate for the NPP in the constituency," he said.
