Dr Abu Sakara, 2012 Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party has stated that, the country’s abundant natural resources will be of benefit to all Ghanaians should he be given the nod to lead the country in the December elections.
He expressed worry over the struggle some Ghanaians go through to have access to basic amenities in life in-spite of the numerous God-given gifts.
Dr Sakara expressed confidence that the fortunes of the CPP will change in this year’s elections. He advised the party polling station agents to be vigilant on Election Day come December 7 and urged them not to append their signature on the election results sheet if they do detect any irregularity in the voting process.
Dr Sakara made these remarks when he took his door-to-door campaign to Ayawaso Central in the Greater Accra Region.
He urged electorates to stop swinging their ballot between the so called two leading political parties which have failed the Country over the last past twenty years.
Dr Sakara revealed, the CPP’s policies seek to develop the human resource base to promote an equitable distribution of skilled labour across the Country. He indicated that the CPP’s educational policy goes beyond just free and compulsory education but intended to address the waste of thousands of young lives who fail in their BECE to be given a helping hand under the CPP’s leadership in vocational training.
He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Lily Sakara Foster, Rodaline Imoru-Ayarna – 2nd National Vice and some members of the Campaign team. Dr Sakara interacted with auto mechanics, traders, shop attendants as well as some shop owners with his new way forward message. Hundreds of people who had the opportunity to meet the CPP flagbearer expressed delight and pledge their vote on December 7.
