Abu Ramadan, the man vying for the national organiser position of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has been told by party delegates in the Central Region about the need to have a presidential candidate who would not be turned into a laughing stock as happened in the last presidential polls.

When asked about the pressing concern about delegates, he said, “Delegates in the Central Region as have their counterparts in other regions expressed anger at the poor showing and conduct of the flagbearer during the presidential debate organised by the Institute of Economic Affairs.”

They have vowed to do all that they can to change the face of the party to make it even more attractive than it has been.

Abu Ramadan was given a high approval rating of the delegates in the Central Region where his campaign stopped recently, little wonder he took leave of them satisfied that all will be well when the party goes to the polls.

The presidential segment of the internal polls will be the most watched given the eagerness a cross section of delegates to alter what they saw during the 2012 elections especially the period before it.
