It Is Time To Learn To Deal With Your Own Cpp Problems – Leave Nduom Alone!
The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) the party making positive waves throughout the country wishes to remind the CPP people to mind their own business and leave our party and our people alone. It has become a standard routine for CPP people whenever they are confronted with difficulties they are experiencing to throw a stone or two at the PPP. They must know that we are wide awake, watching, reading, listening but more importantly engaged in the task of strengthening the base of our party. This task of working assiduously to gain strength we can confidently report is going very well. We want to remain positive.
Therefore, when we hear Samia Nkrumah who was being interviewed by a radio station refer to the exit of Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom from the CPP as being “… necessary to the refinement and rebirth of the CPP”, we cannot but tell Samia and others like her to deal with their own self-inflicted wounds and not look our way for excuses. When Samia says, “It was no surprise to us that Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom and the people he came in with would leave. Those who are committed to the cause have stayed.” A little political history for Samia Nkrumah – Dr. Nduom did not “go” into a CPP in this 4th Republic. Dr. Nduom is one of the people who worked hard to “found” and “bring back” the 4th Republic CPP. It is the efforts, funds and sacrifices made by a few people like Dr. Nduom that made it possible for the NCP, PNC, NIP, PHP and others to journey through PCP, CP to become CPP again. If she does not know, she should ask. After all, she was not here in Ghana, comfortably engaged in Italy and elsewhere when sacrifices were being made sometimes to the detriment of the physical and financial well-being of the leaders. She must desist from putting down those who made it possible for there to be a party called CPP which she can claim to be her own. We hope this is the last time we are forced to address Samia and the CPP this way. In this, we are reluctant warriors. Where are the millions of people Samia said would flood the grounds of the CPP? Where are the people with integrity?
The PPP wants the opportunity to implement our Agenda using the spirit of inclusiveness that will enable us to use the best Ghanaians; full participation of women and the youth; and above all a leadership that is incorruptible. By dealing with corruption, we can double government revenue which we will use to pay for our transformational initiatives in education, healthcare and job creation. This is what we prefer to discuss with other political parties.
AWAKE Ghanaians, for the Progressive People’s Party is here! Redemption is near!
